/ COMMITMENT AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Through our responsible practices and our constant quest for innovation, we aim to reduce the environmental impact of our activities and promote a circular economy.
One of our main objectives is to minimise the carbon footprint associated with plastic production.
Therefore, we have implemented several measures, such as optimising our manufacturing processes to reduce the consumption of energy and materials. We also encourage the use of recycled and recyclable materials in our products, thus promoting reuse and closing the life cycle of plastic materials.
RESPONSIBLE SOURCING
Our commitment to sustainable development runs throughout our whole supply chain. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure they adhere to the highest ethical and environmental standards. We ensure this way that the materials we use are responsibly sourced and do not compromise ecosystems or human health.
/ AGENDA 2030 AND SDGS
The 2030 Agenda is a global plan of action adopted by the United Nations in September 2015. It sets out a set of goals, known as Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which seek to address the most pressing economic, social and environmental challenges of our time.
The goals of the 2030 Agenda aim to balance the three dimensions of sustainable development: economic, social and environmental.
At ITM, we are aware of the importance of individual and corporate responsibility to face the reality of the years to come: a planet that is beginning to see its natural resources depleted, that urgently needs to efficiently manage the waste generated on it and that is heading towards greater massification.
Our priority continues to be to make our manufacturing processes as sophisticated as possible, to improve efficiency and significantly reduce energy consumption, and to take care of the people who make up our team.

At ITM there are no glass ceilings, nor is there any distinction in the treatment of people based on their gender; the women who make up our team are as fundamental as the men, and in accordance with our equality plan, we continue to work to ensure that this equality continues to be a basic pillar in the company.

Our company is committed to providing the best conditions to help the whole team adapt to their job, by offering flexible working hours, access to training courses and the possibility of working remotely, thus helping people to conciliate work and personal life. Thanks to these bases of unity and a good atmosphere, the people who are part of ITM find a long-term position in the company.

As a manufacturing company, we are permanently focused on modernising our processes in order to remain at the forefront of the sector of which we are a part. For this reason, we continue to increase investment in our R&D department, as well as in our infrastructure, expanding our plant to allow a more effective storage and supply of our products.

As part of our duty to reduce our ecological footprint, we take appropriate measures, such as separating the waste generated in the production process, optimising energy consumption and constantly reusing materials. In addition, we have introduced a growing range of products made from post-consumer recycled materials, certified by the German label Blue Angel.
